Jobs in the foreign service/global affairs? |
what kind of jobs are there that involve traveling?? Well, it depends on what professional preparation you have. There are positions available in many domains, starting with the one of translator and ending with the one of "secret agent under cover". One good starting point, for your search, might be the official website of the U.S. Department of State: http://www.state.gov/careers/ But, I have to warn you, from the beginning, that the competition is "ferocious". You have to be VERY good, in your domain of expertize. And, above the professional competency, you must have "impeccable credentials"--including a "blank Criminal record" (for certain positions). You must also understand that the risk of loosing your health (or even your life), associated with your potential job, is quite high. Because you are a pretty woman, please permit me to recom- mend you another job--which will also allow you to travel: modelling. You can contact a Model Agency, if you wish. Let the men do the dangerous jobs. Being a model is much safer than being a Government Official. |
