What are the best tips on getting Jobs in the Postal Service? |
Soon will separate from the Marines and want a good Federal job while attaining school. Hold on! You said themagicword. VET!! If you are a vet with a good discharge, this is a BIG help. Take a copy of your discharge, and a copy of the form they give you on seperation, ( I forget the form number) but it lists the number of days, week,s month,s years of service you have, in addition to your pay grade. In any Gov tjob, vets can get preference. use it. Goodluck! the postal service holds a yearly test.. sort of like SAT 's gone mad.. 2 of my relatives took this.. The math is of great importance... You have to score real high before considered eligible to gain employment with the postal service.. .. They should post notices at post offices.. Ask at the counter.. goodluck! |
