What kind of job can i get with a degree in civil engineering?

I am in my last year and i just wanted to know the job types. And how much i can expect to get paid. i live in NJ but i plan to work in either NY or NJ

Development corporations, infrastructure engineering & contracting companies, Construction etc. Depends on you specialization. A newly graduate usually wwill need a few year apprentice in the firm before specialized. Salary somewhere from 30K to 60K to begin. Very real occassion you'll get more and unlikely you will get a 6 figure to begin, unless you have something unique in your thesis that the firm want and couldn't find it out there.
you can get a job w/ the city.

or check out this website to get an idea ... their job postings for NJ & NY for that field:
