How does getting unemployment help work in Colorado?

It's called insurance, so do you need to pay a monthly amount to get the benefits? Does it cover getting fired? Any other basic info you guys can help me with?

if you were working, 12-15 months ago, and didnt quit your most recent job, you are probably can get it. If you were fired, that doesnt mean you cant get it, but there is a 10 week penalty, waiting period, from when you filed. If you quit, you have nothing coming. being laid-off is easiest. you have to contact the unemploymeny office, they dont get ahold of you, an ask...........
