What are we going to do with the worker Bee's? |
This country was built with worker bee's just like a bee colony. Now everyone has to have a degree or be certified for something. All of our manufacturing is out sourced and there are no jobs for the less intelligent and less skilled Americans. There is no job security or decent jobs with benefits. All the jobs are minimum wage or from temp agencies. The last ones to care are the Wall Street greedy Guru's and the CEO's with 100 million golden parachuets. What we gonna do. We sure as heck know Washington don't care. If you don't have a degree, you're screwed hon. You might as well be dead. Your life will be absolutely miserable if you don't have a degree. Degree holders are valued in society. Non-degree holders are not valued. Employers are demanding degrees for jobs that barely pay anything. It doesn't matter what your degree is in...you just need one. BEG, BORROW, or STEAL. Just get a degree, and you'll be employed. There are no worker bees anymore because Americans have different career aspirations now. They've moved on. No job security with benefits anymore? People aren't spending 10-20 years in one single job anymore. People move on to different jobs after 5 years or less. They have options. Degrees allow them to have options. I'm sorry but what was your real question in that pitiful rant? We are going to keep them working. Not everyone will want to do a worker bee job. Simple. Unless you're mentally challenged I think everyone has the ability to complete a university degree or anything else that requires certification. It's a matter of picking what best suits you and not being lazy. The workload can be stressful but you can always go to school part time. What in the world are you talking about? My husband's office is bombarded by people looking for minimum wage jobs all the time. Maybe you live in an area where every person in every city is a college grad, but California and many places in the United States are not like that! |
