Is Kaiser Permanente a for-profit or non-profit organization?

In Michael Moore's movie, he says that Kaiser is one of the many HMO's making a fortune in our health care system. A Google search of "Kaiser" and "profit" brought up articles indicating they did make profit.

BUT, Michelle Malkin points out on her website, HotAir.com, that Kaiser is a non-profit agency. Wikipedia also has this on their entry for Kaiser.

WHICH ONE IS CORRECT????

Kaiser is a company trying to make money, just like any other company. It is not a Not-For-Profit Organization.
