We are a small non-profit looking for new fundraising/donor database software. Any suggestions? |
We are currently managing about 9000 records and will probably add about 1000 or a little more per year. We need software that will not be too expensive and will have low or no monthly fees. Hi - there is a great organization called Tech Soup - they offer nonprofits software at deeply discounted prices, like 90% off retail. For example, I got a copy of MicroSoft FrontPage for something like $15 there. Here is their website: http://www.techsoup.org Do you need a relational database or a flat database? If you use MicroSoft products, Access might work for you (which is a relational database). I have heard great things about both iMUS and Raiser's Edge. I think Tech Soup sells Raiser's Edge. Or you could even call Tech Soup and ask them for recommendations. Hope this helps! Julie Check out "Mydata" It's only about $10 from most places that sell software and it's a great little database... I've used it since the DOS days but the current version is for Windows. You can find your fundraising database/software at software section at http://libraryfundraiser.com http://libraryfundraiser.com |
