When do federal employees get paid and how often?

I interview for a position and think I have a very good chance of beiing hired. How often are federal employees paid, on what day of the month and are they a month behind?

I depends on what agency you work with when you will get paid. I get paid every two weeks and my checks are two weeks behind not a month.
1ST and 15th
mine is every two weeks. sometimes we get paid three times a month depending on the month. i am paid on every other Thursday but not for sure what the other agencies pay dates are. i was held back two weeks when i first started my job not a month.
