NO!

Gaps in employment, if there are huge gaps, can be an issue. But, not as much of an issue as job jumping. The first thing I look at on an application (after making sure it's actually filled out correctly) is length of time at jobs and the number of jobs. If a person has had no employment gaps over the last 2 years, but has spent 1-4 months at 12 different jobs, I won't hire them regardless of how well the interview goes. Source(s): I hire people.
The important thing is not to have any gaps in your work history, but then you also don't want to look unreliable or undependable by listing too many jobs. You probably could leave out the jobs where you only worked a week.
Heck NO! Gaps are totally okay - what isn't okay is hopping from job to job.

That's a potential employers biggest nightmare because looking for an employee is one of the costliest factors of business ever. The work employee to hire is one that is about to leave to another position.

I know you don't have much to put on your resume for now, but it's completely okay to have several month gaps - there is a 4% unemployment rate you know.

Put it this way, you are responsible for everything that's on the resume - not your real life. You'll have to explain everything in your resume - not your real life.
