Has anyone taken the U.S. Postal Battery exam?

Im just wondering how hard the exam may be and if study guides would help me?

If you sign up for the exam it would definitely be in your best interest to get a study guide. All they are, are practice exams.

There's 4 parts to the exam:

Finding differences in addresses
Memory
Following patterns
Following directions

The toughest part is the memory section. The rest is easy as pie. Just be sure to practice a few times.
You can get books on the Postal exams at the library. Check one out, and read up on it. You should also get something from the Postal Service itself when you sign up to take the test. They will send you basic information about the test, what is on it. Each test has different things on it, depending on the type of work.
