Is there JOB SECURITY with Social Work?

or do social workers get their hours reduced if state aid and budgets get cut?

Lots of job security. Typically, they won't reduce your pay or hours in a budget crisis...they'll just add to your workload and not give you more time to take care of business!
They receive a salary. They have their whole positions cut, but anyone with a Masters (which is required to be a Social Worker) has security, you can always find a job.
ha, job security is an oxymoron, if you do not control your paycheck then you do not have security.
