As a nonprofit treasurer can I be reimbursed for expenses like portion of my cell, pg &e since job done at hom

The job has been very difficult because of the nastiness of the members. I receive calls and emails all the time. Even when I try to limit my time spent it turns out more time. So I would like to submit expenses as if I was do a job from home. Taking a portion of my cell, PG & E, home phone (faxes), cable and the portion of the room I used to do this dreadful job.

This has to be put to a vote by your board of directors> in the Lions Club i belong to All reasonable expences are covered. for all members, who take on a project or commitee..You need tom let them know that you have a lifeIf this job is dread full Give it up
It is not unreasonable to ask that you be reimbursed for reasonable expenses. The key phrase here is reasonable. You will have to be able to precisely document why you are asking for the certain dollar amount. Also, you should check the bylaws of the organization to see if there is any language that stipulates (or forbids) reimbursement. Be prepared for a struggle, but I think that as long as you are patient and polite you should be able to get what you are asking for. Just be able to document incoming/outgoing calls, faxes and the like. Do not expect to just get a flat percentage of your bills paid.
