Are there any jobs that pay but nobody wants? |
Are there any jobs that pay but nobody wants? Sure, jobs go unfilled all the time. An employer needs a worker willing to do the job at a rate the employer is willing to pay with the skills the employer needs. The lower the wage, more uncommon the skills, or 鈥測uckier鈥?the job the more likely the employer will not be able to fill the job at the wage he is willing to pay. Both high end and low end jobs go unfilled. Fast food places are always looking for workers for example (low pay, not-so-cool (yucky-ish) , but low skill job). And at a high skill/high pay level, nurses are in constant demand for example (high pay, high skill, but high stress and you play 2nd fiddle to the doctors). If you are looking for a specific job that pays well, but is often in demand. Look for the 鈥測ucky鈥?jobs that are both unpleasant and are not what you would want to brag to your friends about. Like those that deal with smelly waste. Garbage man (person), sewer worker, mucking animal waste, etc鈥? Many jobs are done by people who don't want them. They take them because they must work to live, to survive. I may not want to be a cashier, but if that's what it takes, then that's what it takes!! If you're asking if there is a job that NO ONE will do, I'd say NO. From the paid executioner in a particular state, to the sewage worker someone is doing at job. The majotity, I would say I had a job as a sewage treatment plant operator that paid very well.. I only worked there for a day though..
