Is the postal job physically demanding?

Is the postal job physically demanding?

Yes and no it hard if you have to walk up hill and it's hot. But it is best to be in shape before you start. Maybe you will get to be the person at the post office selling stamps.
not if you get to drive..
You need to lift 50 pound and some male bags are heavier so if you are short dumping them on a table can be too much. If you ask a man to help they will act like you shouldn't be getting paid because they are taller so can dump on a high table easier and will push you aside and do it rather than help you like in the rules. My mom worked in a air mail facility for 20 years and is under 5 feet so that was the hardest part. She got paid more than any men on her shift because she took test and handed registered mail and things they weren't qualified to do.
Other than dealing with male co workers it was a good job.
Yes. It is labor intense. Better be in shape before you start.
