What is a typical job description of a Marketing Committee for a Non-profit org?

How does an organization determine the depth of involvement of a Marketing Committee? Is there any guidelines for creating committees and descriptions or are the templates available that i can use as a starting point?

Many thanks.

First of all: What is the objective ? - 2: Who are you going to "benefit" the most ? ( Selling point: Sell benefits ) 3: Train your sales personnel - Learn your product and that of the competition - How to vercome the good points of the competition with your good points - Once this has been done, your committee should name a Marketing Manager and LET HIM DO HIS JOB !!!!! - Do not micro-manage. Ask for reports and CHALLENGES ( not problems ) that he might be encountering and offer to help.
