Whats one of the most rewarding jobs you can do?

Whats the best job that not only pays well but you feel like you've actually made a difference? Their must be a job that at the end of the day you feel good about what you've done.

I have been a firefighter for 34 years--Ihave had all the assignments and worked all the different vehicles in our department. Serving people is great and I never have the same day twice. tyhe job is all teamwork and is like the military--we have ranks and incident command to make decisions that we have to follow.
yeah.my business is fashion and apparel i like my job very much ....
hope you can enjoy your job

I would find the most rewarding thing to do would be to give myself a payrise.
i work at a plant nursery. they ship plants we must tag, and make look good... and pot plants, which is grueling.... and weed plants. all day long.... at the end of the day, when the bell rings, and i am usually pretty dirty... it feels like i have done something for that day. phew.... i do not get paid very well though... and it is just a seasonal job. and one of my supervisors is a heifer, and the other one is tall and almost scary! i am passionate about my job, and love what i do. i only wished i knew it all, so i didn't have to be belittled. the people i work for, mean nothing when i am out there in the field working... things just seem to slip away for a while.....
I'm a 1st grade teacher :) I feel very rewarded at the end of the day knowing I saw the "got it" looks in the faces of my students. It is also an awesome feeling knowing that my students come to me in the beginning of the year not knowing how to read but leave at the end of the year being able to read. Teaching is the best job for me.
Your question is really vague. Are you talking rewarding financially or self rewarding to ones ego?
If it's ego, I would say that helping others would fit the bill. If it's financial, I would say to find an area that you are good in and work at that.
I agree with the teacher to an extent. I worked as a TEFL teacher if only for 4 months and I really really enjoyed it. The focus isn't really grammar and work- it's conversations and making jokes and seeing someone develop in ability because of your technique. The reason I left was because it isn't profitable and I need money right now. But I hear that if you teach 'Business English' privately one-on-one you can get very well paid- and get the ego boost.
