What jobs hire you at 14? Not many, atleast for me. I've seen kids that look like they were 12 working at mcdonalds. I have been searching for a job since i was 14, I'm nearing 19 now and got nothing. I've actually been told I'm over qualified!!! The best thing you can do is agriculture if you live in the mid-west. Most jobs require a work permit, you need to be 15 and keep a certain GPA in school. I say focus more on school untill your around 16 then start looking a bit more. Good Luck. slave fields uncle dale's farm From my experience there's usually special program design to find employment for youth and they usually have their own employment/work sites, etc. Besides babysitting, lawncare/maintenance, you can also go for fast food jobs. And usually if you are under 16 a worker's permit is required. |
