Best paying jobs for 19 yr old? |
WHat are the best paying jobs for a 19 year old full time college student? As of right now I make $8.50 an hour, my paychecks every week are about $40-$60. Please dont say anything ridiculous like porn or stripping. Thanks =) Your college probably has a career resource center that will hook you up with a good paying internship. I just graduated, but when I was in school full time I worked 25 hrs/week at as an intern and made $10/hr plus gained experience. Employers like young interns b/c they can mold them for several years, don't wait until your senior year. It's important to set your schedule up so that you can have 3 full days to work with classes at night. I also worked some nights and weekends, about 20hrs, busing tables...after tips I averaged about $15/hour... that's $550/week before taxes. Not too bad if you can balance 45hrs, school, and friends. Call center work. If they have an inbound call center in your town, like customer service for a bank or something. Waiting on tables. If you're good at it, you can set your own shift, within reason, and make good tips. If you are hot and good at waitressing, you will get giant tips from horny customers. If you are smart and can read people well, you will know which ones to accept other offers from. Pick up some Microsoft Excel and basic accounting knowledge and you should easily earn like $12 or more. There's tons of free tutorials on the net. GOOGLE it. You can then Sign up with Temp agencies that give part time gigs. You can also teach someone your newly acquired skills for a fee. Used to temp as an office assistan when I was in College. well if you look in your local ads it say the best money in town is "dancing" if the clubs put an ad. you brought it on yourself You should start you own business.
