Promoting a non profit organization + some more questions? |
How do you promote a non profit organization? How do you make a hotline for it? Do you guys think that there are good deals? Also, If you contact some celebrities asking them to promote and/or represent the organization, would they answer your letter even if they didnt want to do it? It sounds like the organization needs a communications plan that clearly delineates: Who - The Target Audience What - The "Message" How - The "Medium(s)" and most important.... "The Messenger(s)" - (who delivers the message) If you're not clear on the message, I would recommend that the organization undertakes a Strategic Plan to clearly define the message and image it would like to present. Most communications plans are also intertwined with fund-raising plans. Good luck. Source(s): Non-Profit Organizational Management Consultant You've asked a lot of disparate questions here. Nonprofit marketing depends on your topic and goals. Basic marketing questions apply to nonprofits, too: what's your product, price, promotion and positioning. Estblishing a hotline involves staffing and funding. A warm line can have intermittent staffing and a cold line could be just a voice mail system. Figure out which type works best for you. Regarding celebrities, I'd suggest contacting their management and doing so with a very professional letter and clearly stated purpose. I don't know if they'll respond or not. |
