Jobs for a 15 yr old freshman during the year.? |
Can anyone name a few working places to get a job for a 15 year old going into highschool, and wanting to work during the year? sit on a baby. i hear it makes a quite good bit of cash Source(s): if u dont get the joke go back to 6th grade The local YMCA here will hire 15 year olds in the babysitting area as well as in maintenence. Also, when I was 14, actually, I worked at a local chain hair salon sweeping up hair. myself why dont you check the job classified ad section on sites like http://www.webcosmo.com You may find some positions there. The best thing to do is just to call around. Ask for human resources if they have one and ask what their minimum age is. Some places hire younger people to do odd jobs and things other than the main payroll. Unfortunately, you probably aren't going to find a nice cooshy job. Most of the jobs early on consist of either labor or just crappy jobs that no one else will do. You can also check around the neighborhood, see if anyone will pay you to cut their lawn. If you can get 10 bucks a lawn and cut 5 lawns a week, that's 200 bucks a month. It isn't great, but it is something. Check with churches, community centers, ask around. Usually people know of someone willing to part with a few bucks to get something done. Hope this helps and good luck! :-) |
