Jobs for 14-15 year olds?

I was placed on a paper route, but I will never get it because the family down the street has had it for over ten years. And now that the kids have regular jobs, [ they're 16 - 20 ] they still do the paper route! Sometimes the mother even does it. I feel its very un-fair. Anyways, I recieved an offer from the clothing store Hollister, but I'll just be 15 soon, and you must be 17. Is there any jobs I can do at 15, before I do a convienence[sp] store at 16 around NewYork - Buffalo area?

I agree with the fast food employment. Are there any elderly folks in your area? Can you do odd jobs for them? How about mowing lawns in the summer, shoveling snow in the winter & raking leaves in the fall?
im pretty sure that you can work fast food at age 15.
If you can get a work permit at 15 you should be able to work in a restaraunt or grocery store.
well u could always apply 4 a job at a grocrie store or something like that!!! or u could just do voluneer work like i do
at your age its hard to find a job but fast food will hire you with a workers permit, unless your family know some one where you can be paid under the table for non strenuous light labor work cause if your hurt its there behind i know it feels like youll never be old enough but i had my first job at 14 at mickey d's its wasnt the best job but i was getting paid
Ask your parents or school on how to get you a work permit.
Fast Food, Park Districts, Library, etc. When you turn 16 or 17 then you will have more options. Good Luck!
Most places will not hire before 16 due to child labor laws. Try offering to mow lawns, walk dogs, babysit, rake leaves or shovel snow. If this isn't your style try volunteer work that you would enjoy, no you will not get a paycheck but it is great for college applications. Also, this is a great way to get your foot in the door. You may work your way to a hired position or meet someone in your community that is impressed by you and offers you a job. Good luck
