Post office jobs?

I'm going for an interview next week to work for the post office. I don't want to ask them right off about transferring. So, how long do you have to be in a city before you can transfer to another one. I've heard from different people either 6 or 12 months, but which one is it?

No harm in asking!
you can find the answer at the post office human relation department. They don't publicized this kind of things, so...
My mom is a postel worker and u have to find some1 to trade with. For example we wanted to move to Tennesse from Flordia but we coulnt find any1 to trade with so were still in florida. Good luck with the new job!!!

It would depend based upon what craft you are in but on average you're required to stay for 18 months.

Could you be asking about the USA post office by any chance? I dont think your question makes sense if you are asking about the UK post office.
