If you were to come up with your own non profit organization? |
What would be your cause? Dear Trashman Can, For many years my husband and I have been working on a plan to help the homeless. We call it, "Homestead for the Homeless." We have all the plans drawn up for land and what needs to be built. We have established all the rules and regulations that must be a standard for all participants. We have a means to make this offer available to all and a means of transportation. Homestead for the Homeless will be a program where everyone has to participate in the upkeep of the home in order to stay and recover. It will be a place someone could come to recuperate, receive mental and physical conditioning if necessary and be taught a trade of sort to help them back into society. It will be a home of helping, supporting and nurturing all. The Homestead will be completely "green". It will supply it's own electricity, farmed for it's own food and all used products will be recycled to help the environment. This land will provide it's own water and rain water will be collected for use, so as not to waste. There are more plans and the list is long, however, well thought out. If we had the money, this would already be a reality! Can you imagine the people who would be truly helped and how society would benefit! There are those in society who think these people are lazy and disposable?! What a disgrace. I see every individual as a gift. Source(s): One day, Homestead for the Homeless, will be a reality. To sponsor children around the world,i'd teamed up with other big companies and make an agreement,maybe..every organization that helps the needy that needs people to sponsor children,my organization sponsor like 5 kids..or more. i would give food and medicine to the people who can't afford it in 3rd world countries To free Willy That's a really good question! My cause would be for supporting teachers and schools. Teachers don't get paid enough and many many schools are underfunded. It would be an organization that teaches nature, outdoor education and team building and leadership to youth. So many youth do not get to experience the outdoors, animals, or learn to work in a team for anything other than a grade. I like to expose children to environments or situations they may not have the opportunity to experience in their everyday life. Education is key to helping children and giving them the opportunity to succeed in new situations. So many children do not know that they can if they just try with a little hard work. |
