Federal/State Government Jobs?

I have tried over and over again to apply for a federal/state government job but was never successful. What is the secret with the application process? What is the secret with the KSA's? Please help me, what am I doing wrong?

You don't say what type of governemt job. There are certain requirements for various jobs. First you need to take an examination. You can buy study guides for them at any major bookstore.
You can also ask at the Post Office. They normally have information on Federal Jobs and possibly State government for your state.
You can also look under the government listings in the phone book. If you live close to a military installation or a Government building you can enquire there also. A Federal court house is another area you can check.
