What is the earning potential of a fundraiser? |
I am considering this as a career choice but am not sure whether I would be able to make a decent living out of it. Anybody know what the expected salaries are in fund raising? The earning potential depends upon the cause for which you work. For example , funds pour in for good cause like helping of orphanage(CRY). You won't get rich raising money for other people, but you should be able to live well enough, particularly as you gain experience and decide on a specialization, as development professionals often choose to specialise in specific fields, like grant proposal writing, major, individual, or corporate gifts, planned giving, or event planning. Of course, if you have strong feelings about the cause you are supporting, that is an additional benefit to know that you are helping support them in their goals. Well I am a Fundraising Specialist with Home and Garden Party. I am an Independent Designer. I find the organizations/individuals that need funds raised and present them with our fund raisers.
