What is a good job for kids from 10 to 14 yrs old not a lemonade stand or working at home i want a real job? If your parents own a business you can legally work for them but only a few hours per day. if you are in the USA, you are generally too young to work at a 'real job.' think of babysitting, lawn mowing, raking leaves, doing chores for neighbors, etc. Sorry - it is illegal for you to get a real job. Enjoy not having to work while you can! Play video games and ride your bike. Once it starts it never end! Sorry, you can't really get a "real" job or even a part-time job until you're at least 16. If your parents or a family friend owns a business you can legally work for them, but only for a few hours per day. Also, consider having a yard sale, doing babysitting, dog walking, mowing lawns, etc. Or if you want, you could could maybe create an Internet business, as far as I know, there is no legal age for owning and conducting an online business.
