I want high starting pay job that is stable and comfortable. What qualifications do I need?

I want to have a high starting pay...High starting pay means anything above 3k. Currently, I can earn 3.2k monthly basic pay as the starting pay if I got a degree with honours (Government Job). Is there a job to beat that? The job must be stable (no high risk jobs) and comfortable. Best if I can seat in the office and enjoy the air-conditioning, but it must at least not require me to run around under the hot sun.

If there is such a job, what qualifications must I have and how should I go about getting it? I was considering taking Business Administration with Honours and Masters of Public Policy or a law degree.

Engineers are amongst the highest paid entry-level workers. I have been working for about a year now with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and my starting pay was $4500/month with a 5% raise at 6 months,12 months, and every 12 months thereafter. Working conditions for engineers are usually in-office and about 40 hours/wk. Other engineering jobs, such as Petroleum Engineers have a considerably higher pay (~$60-70K/yr starting) but require a lot of travel and off shore work. Personally, I love the work life balance of my job. The engineering curriculum is somewhat difficult but it definitely pays off in the end. Source(s): http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos027.htm...
dont do law. it will destroy your soul.

business admin working to a masters, and pick up a communications degree along the way.

these two degrees can get you the cushy do nothing job that will never benefit the world that you desire.
