What is the average starting salary for working at the IRS?


I know there are several different positions and jobs within the IRS, and i'm generalizing here, but any starting salary would be helpful. I'm just trying to get a general idea.
Also, if you have a starting salary, what position is it?

Group D staff generally consist of labourers, peons and porters. They are hired locally by the 16 zonal railway boards.Their salary is around Rs.4000/- per month.

Group C vacancies are for assorted positions and qualifications and the pay varies from post to post. Basic posts like those of ticket collectors and commercial clerks are open to people with a matriculation qualification.
