Is Midwifery a rewarding career? |
Is Midwifery a rewarding career? yes. the awe you receive from watching Puppies being born ( hasn't every child had the chance to watch new-life, being brought into the world)? every single day of your working life, you get the chance to be a part of something special. to high-light it's appeal as a career, you also get have a laugh too. see link below. Source(s): http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/... I would imagine so... It is a great service Go on and enjoy your career ! Midwifery is a very rewarding career. It is also a difficult challenging role. The challenges are balancing work and home life. Leaving the job at work and not letting it adversely effect you. Midwifery is also about death, this comes hand in hand with life. To deal with this you should have emotional maturity this will enable you to meet challenges and still remain optomistic about birth. Midwifery is a vocation it chooses you. It's the best job in the world. Yeah, you get to hold all them lovely new bundles first. What could be more rewarding than bringing little new lives safely into the world. I have a friend who's daughter went on to be a midwife and she found it exhilerating and exciting, but also emotional- especially when problems arose- her first delivery after getting her qualification was to deliver a still born- so two sides to it. Not for the fainthearted. |
