I need help with interviewing for healthcare?

I am apparently bombing interviews for NA jobs. I worked as one last year, but for some reason I don't get hired??
Anyone here conduct these interviews? Could you please tell me some secrets, or what you look for? Red flags and such? I really cannot understand what I am doing wrong! THANK YOU!

There are so many things it could be! First impressions are huge! Make sure your dress is appropriate - clean, ironed, smells good, and somewhat dressed up. Brush and floss your teeth as well as have any cavities fixed (ecspecially if they are on front teeth. Don't go in there smelling like smoke. Then take a look at your hair - you hair style needs to be up to date as well as clean, nicely kept, and not a wild color or has an outgrown die job. Wear deodorant but NO perfume (some people are offended or allergic to smells.) Make sure your finger nails are clean. I know these are all superfical things but that's what makes a first impression. Smile, make eye contact, be sincere, sit up straight, use a firm handshake, laugh if needed but don't make jokes or be obnoxious. Conduct yourself in a professional manner. Ask questions about the job..... don't be overly worried about the pay and benefits - save those questions for after they offer you the job. Simply find out what kind of work they are offering and what they are looking for. Sell yourself - be prepared to say many good things about yourself. Be able to offer them something that you can improve on but make that actually be one of your assets..... that one takes more time than I have time for in this post. Thank them for their time. Smile! These are the first impression things that come to the forfront of my mind. Hope that helps.
Do some practice interviews with someone you respect. Have them ask you the questions and critique your responses. It could be almost anything from speech patterns to dress, or maybe you just weren't the most qualified.
