Are sonographers happy with their careers? Do they make good $? Are they in demand?

Thanks!

Salary depends upon location and employer.

According the U.S. Department of Labor, median annual earnings of diagnostic medical sonographers were $52,490 in May 2004. Salaries ranged from $37,800 to more than $72,230 for the highest 10 percent of wage earners.
