Is a career in anesthesiology a good choice?

i'm having trouble deciding what career to pursue... is a career in anesthesiology a good way to go? will i make like, a good amount of money in the first 4, 5 years?

To become an anesthesiologist, you need a bachelor's degree, then four years of medical school, and then another 4 (or more) years of residency.

Once you complete that, you can get a great job and will make a good living.

Realize, of course, that you'll be around 30 years old when you get your first "real" job! Source(s): I'm an anesthesiologist.
