I may want to major in Nursing, can you answer this? |
What fields of Nursing do not require you to clean people and to help people use the restrooms on a daily basis? Industrial nurse, sales in healthcare equipment / drugs, research nurse, clinic nurse etc (4 years of premed.) 1 year of Psychology 1 Year of Chemistry 1 Year of Organic Chemistry 1 year of Calculus 1 year of Anatomy 1 year of Physics 1 year of Biology 1 year (perfer microbiology) Nursing don't always clean people, we have another job for it. then, take the MCAT, for 2-4 years of nursing. My co-worker is male and is becoming an 8 year of annessologist. Psychiatric nursing. I have worked as a nurse for 14+ years at the same hospital and rarely see any body fluids or have to help people with activities. However, be prepared to deal with unusual to downright psychotic behaviors. There are some very sick people in this world and you will see all kinds of very weird stories. hmmm.. regardless of where you work the first thing you learn in nursing school is that task is never beneath you. your CNA will do most of this but if she/he is not around it comes back to you. maybe forensic nursing though? or if you get your BSN or Masters degree you could work in a office setting but experience on the floor will also be wanted.good luck. thats why i like babies..i can deal with their little diaper loads!LOL! |
