Should I be a Dental Hygienist, Sonographer or school teacher?

I want a job that I will enjoy, and gives me the opportunity to work part time. Any one have any advice on these three jobs?? What do you like or dislike about them. How is the pay? The burnout rate???? What about benefits and insurance?? Thanks!!

I say a sonographer. Someone will always have one done! It's seems fun and somewhat easy. Teachers are great, but what is your tolerance level? As far as the hygienist, I say that would get pretty old fast... You would be sick of sitting there with the dentist surround by teeth every day...

Good luck with whatever you choose! It must be nice to have very different career's to choose from... Mine are very limited, such as, maid, chef, slave, trash picker upper, or punching bag.... (stay at home mom of 3 girls)... LOL!
Sonography is more interesting but perhaps as I'm a medical personal! But follow yr own interest.1 of my friends is a sonographer who enjoys very much her job found a sense of participation in clinical diagnosis!good luck!
Dental hygiene is definetely a good oppurtunity for part-time work. It wouldn't really be possible to be a school teacher part-time unless you were a substitute teacher, and THAT can lead to burnout (just think about how your class would act up whenever a substitute teacher was there for the day!) Dental hygiene pays very well, and being in the medical field always provides one with a great deal of benefits and insurance. With dental hygiene you can get a sore back from sitting in one spot all day, but each mouth is completely different and provides different challenges. Depending on where you work, the day can go by very quickly because you will be busy. You can choose to work in a children's dentist office, an orthodontic clinic and even hospitals. So there are many options in that field. Not sure about sonography as I do not know much about it.
