How does one import home health aides from another country? I would advise against it. Immigration laws being what they are, it's very difficult to comply with all the rules. Also, the home health aide in the foreign country might be just using this as an excuse to get to America and you have no idea what his/her skills actually are. When I needed a caregiver for my husband during his final illness I used a caregiver registry right here in my own city. They are bonded, and if anything goes wrong they stand behind it; if the caregiver is late arriving they'll get you somebody else, etc. NEVER try to save money by going to illegals. There's a reason for our laws. Use them. move to there country , people "importing " cheap labor is what is killing this country , my wife has been a CNA for 15 years , and it is ridiculous for someone to replace her with a illegal |
