I'm about to get my RN. I have seizures in my sleep. Which job in the nursing field could i get. (as an RN?)

I used to have seizures any random time of the day, but for the past year or so, they've all been while i've been sleeping. Can anyone help?

It seems to me that if you can prove you have a year of no waking seizures, there should be places you could work. I'd have to wonder about what the stress of actually working in the field might do to your seizure threshhold. Main thing is, be honest with anyone you apply to. I'm sure they have other epileptics working there, too.
Working only during the day would be an obvious choice and there are nursing jobs that are available on this basis.

Day surgery
Outpatient clinics
Pre operative assessment clinics
Community nursing
Occupational health nursing (further study would be needed for that however)

Or negotiate working just day shifts with your manager when you get accepted for a job, most managers will be quite flexible, especially when you state your reasons, and some will offer self rostering where you can choose your own shift pattern. Good luck, and well done on getting this far!
