Microbiology? |
What jobs can you get with a Microbiology degree? (B.S) If you want to work in a laboratory, you would need to apply for a medical technologist internship. It lasts a year and then you have to take and pass a registry examination. Once you have the MT, you can specialize in microbiology if you work in a large enough laboratory. It is possible to be hired by a large reference laboratory with your degree, but you would need to have some on the job training to do the job. Source(s): MT(ASCP) |
