I am hearing impaired;but it is sometimes not noticeable. i can carry a conversation and hear ok. I can talk on the phone fine. I wear a hearing aid so that helps. Being hearing impaired doesnt mean I am stupid, just means I can't hear well. My concern is will it be a problem in this type of work. I love working with numbers. I am thinking of going to school for it but want to be sure. Thanks in advance.
You would be taking the doctor's bills and putting ICD charges onto them for the insurance companies to pay. If you worked in a hospital you would have to go over every page of a patient's chart to search for chargeable items to bill. To the best of my knowledge it doesn't require any phone work, but you will have to learn your ICD codes. One mistake and the doctor/hospital won't get paid. |
