Becoming a Surgical Nurse?

Can I get my Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (RN), then get my Master of Science in Nursing, and then go to Surgical Nursing School?...Will that work?...I know it sounds like a lot, but will I also get paid well for having this much education?...
o and after going to surgical nursing school, get a job?

what do you mean by surgical nursing school? I have never heard of such a thing. Do you mean nurse anesthetist? To get your RN it is 4 years, then a masters is 2 additional years. To be a surgical nurse, you do not need special schooling after your RN. To be an anesthetist you do not need your masters, just your BSN, then anesthetist schooling which is several years after that. Perhaps you should clarify what type of position you are aiming for here. Source(s): RN/BSN
