What does NOC Differential mean?

I am a new graduated nurse and I have a couple of job offers. One of the jobs would like me to work the NOC shift. They say I will make more money, but I don;t know what what NOC mean. I want to learn what this means before I take the postion.

NOC just stands for night shift, or nighttime in general. Nocturnal.
We do not have this abbreviation in the UK but I would imagine it refers to Night On Call shifts.
