What career should i go with? |
I am a sophomore in high school and i am between 3 different careers.A nurse,a dental hygienist,and an x-ray technician.Please help me out!I really appreciate it! I am a college student going into nursing, there are always available job positions. You must be patient, hard working, and able to go on little or no sleep dental hygienist is a good choice due to it pays well with great hours. i really dont know enough about x ray techs go with your heart, look for what you can do and what you want to do within those fields, look for what kind of life you want to lead outside of your chosen profession (for hours and such) and make your decision. Good thing you are thinking about it now, you have lots of time Good luck! do what u like the best out of the three careers. being a nurse sounds really good. Human Services. well im not sure how much an xray tech makes but i think it's more than a nurse. i heard it pays really well Go to a community college that offers those programs and talk to an adviser in each department and ask for pamphlets about each one.... study hard and keep focused on your goals NURSE there's a very high demand! you'll always be able to find a job that pays well! do you have a clinical rotation program in your school? if so, you might only be able to do it your junior and senior year. i did it both years. i went in clinical rotation wanting to be an obstetrician, then i wanted to be a neurosurgeon. now i'm majoring in digital filmmaking & video production so if your mind wanders, don't ignore it. if you're really interested in the medical field then think about the everyday job. i wanted to do these things also but i thought about the slow days. would i really want this job on the slow days or would it always be worthwhile? that was one reason why i chose not to go into the medical profession. i rotated at the hospital and sometimes it got kinda boring, but that's just me. my mind moves so fast and i have to move with it. you might be different. |
