Could a medical assistant eventually become a doctor in charge?

If you are talking about progression through experience, no. You need a degree to be a doctor.
If you go to school and get a degree.
Sure with the right training and degree.
Never, if you want to be a doctor of medicine, you have to get an MD degree. If you are already an MD, then there is always a possibility for advancement.
There are probably rare and specific instances when and where this could happen. But you would be found to be practicing without a license if caught doing so. You need a degree and license to be a medical doctor in the USA and I'm sure the same is true in most other countries. I know there are numerous clinics or doctors offices where the MA has almost the same "authority" in making diagnosis and handing out prescriptions but it is clearly defined that the licensed doctor of the business is the one in charge...and if the MA were to make an error that caused harm to the patient it would be the doctor that would have to answer for the mistake.
he/she can be if he/she is a medicine graduate, and had passed the qualifying exam too.
Lol, no.

Go through 4 years undergrad and 4 years med like every other doctor.
