Does my husband need to change his Japanese medical certification?

My husband has a Japanese radiological certification. We are currently living in Tokyo, Japan, but are planning to move back to America in the next two years. What steps should he take to abtain an American certification or will the one he has now be ok? He loves working in the health care field and wants to continue on this career path.

There is a test that he needs to take i had a family member who was certified in another country and she had to take this test to be able to practice in the US. I wish i could give you the name or how much but i forgot
The one he has should be fine.
well it depends on the place he is going to work

I had know of ppl from Mexico that are teachers or doctors and come to the USA and are forced to take some tests to get their American certification. Specially, to make sure they have the language knowledge on that career field.
