Do anesthesiologist make good money, and is this career in demand???/?

I used to nanny for an anesthesiologist. She went into private practice and told me she started making 4x what she made when she worked at a hospital.

I saw one of her checks from when she worked there (the hospital) and it was for $6000. Multiply that by 4.

Seems to me with elective surgery becoming more common the need for this type of doctor would definitely be in demand.
yes they make a lot of money and yes this career is in demand.

the money making shouldn't be your first priority. u need to find something u really want to do.
yes and yes
Yes they do make very good money and the career IS in demand. :) Also, I hear anesthesiologists don't get sued as much as other doctors do. So if you're thinking about going into that field, it'd be a secure one to pick!
Wow I'm actually in college studying to be an Anesthesiologist. And they do get paid well.
