Is Ultrasound Technology A Great Field To Enter? |
I would love to hear from ultrasound technologists/sonographers, or anyone who knows about this field. Are you satisfied with your career? Do you make decent $$$ ? Are jobs plentiful? yeah it a great job but make sure u are ready for health care which means u have to give of yourself a lot. pay is great, demand is great. u have to work in hospitals but if u dont mind bein around sick people. I mean do u think this will fit your skills and abilities then by all means go for it when looking for a career always look for the best fit for you not just money or demand a great career is one in which you are happy to wake up and do!! check out www.bls.gov for more info on sonographers any job ,any department in health care pays a great deal but its heard work and it goes unappreciated if you are among those who do their job because they love it welcome abroad but but if not try some thing else remember one thing it does not matter if you are a technician or doctor or nurse or in any department health care is sometime nick name human gross product career it deals with grossity of humans example ,ultrasound of rectum ,stomach pregnant women ,cancers these all look nasty but if you love your job the abnormal make a good picture good luck but i make good money and you can get a Job as soon as you come out of school ,be confident it looks like you will love it |
