Is medical billing something you can do from home?

Is it legit? Is a certificate adequate in obtaining a job? Is the pay pretty good? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can work from home if you have enough experience to take that kind of risk. You really need formal training, and a few years of working with an experienced biller to learn the ropes adequately.

If you have your own business from home, YOU are responsible for marketing yourself, attracting clients, purchasing supplies, and most importantly, following all the government regulations for proper billing and coding practices.
