What does an ENG tech do?

I put in my application for a medical assistant position at an ENT office and they called for an interview to be an ENG Tech does anyone know what people in this position are excepted to do I tried looking it up online with no luck I would just like to be a lil informed before going into the interview tomorrow morning.

eng = electronystagmography.
basically, you're recording eye movements using electrodes placed around the eye. You're usually looking for something called a nystagmus, and looking to see whether it's abnormal. Now that you have those two terms, research away!! Source(s): coursework
