An Administrator is a manager of a medical office. This requires healthcare terminology, usually billing and coding knowledge, human resources skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities. This person is the usually the main liaison between the physicians and practitioners and the assisting staff.

A medical office assistant might check patients in and out, collect fees, make appointments, answer phones, file charts, and assist with billing. They are typically the "front desk" or receptionist in a medical office.
this kind of work is called medical billing and information and there are many schools for this, especially community colleges
