Can I work in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a nurse?

I'm an RN in New Jersey and I really want to travel to Buenos Aires for about a year. I have friends there that I can live with but I would love to continue working in the nursing field. While I'm not completely fluent in Spanish, I do know quite a bit and I'm going to take a few more courses in it to get better before I go. I'm wondering if it's possible for me to work there as an RN or in some type of nursing capacity ? Would they hire someone from the US?

You are in luck. Nurses are in demand worldwide. Especially in South America where US trained RNs are in great demand.

You are doing well to take a few more courses to sharpen your knowledge of medical terminology in Spanish, you will need it. Check with local hospitals first to determine their requirements for new hires.

Also, there are many headhunter companies who hire nurses for hospitals/clinics around the world.

Suerte.
