Don't believe what you see and hear on TV commercials - that you can go to school for 7 months and immediately start working from home and make a decent living. You will want to work alongside other billers for a couple of years to fill in the gaps about things you didn't learn in school. THEN decide whether having your own medical billing business is worth your time, effort, and expense.
